Subscriptions for recurring research supply

How a recurring order works, what you are charged and when, and how to pause or cancel it without contacting anyone.

A subscription repeats an order you already place on a schedule you choose. It is intended for work with a steady, predictable requirement, where re-ordering by hand every cycle is just overhead.

The price and the contents are fixed to what you selected when the subscription started. If the catalog price of an item changes later, we tell you before the change applies to your subscription rather than after — a renewal should never be the first time you learn about a new price.

Each renewal is announced by email in advance, and that message names the date, the amount and the items. If a subscription is going to charge you, you will have heard about it before it happens.

You can pause, skip a single cycle, change the schedule or cancel from your account, at any time, without contacting support. Cancelling stops future renewals and does not affect an order already placed and paid for.

Availability rules apply to every cycle, not just the first. If an item in a subscription becomes unavailable in your country or leaves the catalog, that cycle will not ship it, and we will contact you rather than substituting something else.
